Hi all
Not sure if this is best thread but any ideas on a good meeting place for any FC fans in town on the Friday? I'm guessing downtown will be central enough for most. A bar with good beer that doesn't mind out of tune singing would be ideal.

It's a really big building with plenty to drink and I'm sure that you Mancunians are welcome to join us there, especially if there is interest in scarf trades or anything like that. Plus it has all the parking as far as I can tell. If you are looking for a bar of your own I'll admit I'm not very familiar with the area but here is a quick overview:

I think this would be fun and interesting, but I believe part of the reason there hasn't been anything formalized yet is because the clubs have set up all kinds of events, including on Friday, for traveling supporters from Manchester and supporters of DCFC. EDIT: This isn't to say that we wouldn't be interested in doing some sort of meet-up with fellow supporters, we just want to be sure not to step on the toes of the clubs, who have gone to a good deal of trouble setting things up. As more details emerge about those events, I'm sure other, supporter-centric events will pop up around those other things.

Thanks. I hadn't expected anything for the Friday so will await further developments. Looking forward to it.

Could be a Friday option if nothing else turns up.

Looks like plenty of things sorted. (can't post the twitter link but sure you've seen the plans) We won't get to detroit until Friday pm so see some of you in Nancy Whiskey...and maybe for breakfast!

Have you guys sorted out transport, or do you need assistance from us? Sorry, been a little MIA the last couple weeks. We had a few things going, opening the new ground and all.
