In case you haven't seen yet (I don't know how you wouldn't have) they're letting us march in the St. Patrick's Day Parade again. I don't know why, but they are. Anyway, the info is as follows: For the fourth year in a row, Detroit City FC and its supporters will be marching in Corktown's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade! Join the fun on Sunday, March 13 at 12 p.m. as we warm up our vocal chords and bring out the drums to show Detroit what City faithful are all about. DCFC will have a merchandise booth on Michigan Avenue across from SLOWS BAR BQ. The team will be selling its limited edition shamrock tees (http://bit.ly/1QprOpg) and other Le Rouge gear. Alcohol, swears and smoke are not permitted while marching. Marchers are not allowed to pass out candy, beads or trinkets to the crowd. Parade details: The parade starts at 12 p.m. DCFC is in the 2nd division. We'll be organizing on Porter Street at the corner of 6th street at 11 a.m. DCFC will be marching behind The Whiskey Bar and ahead of Denby High School Marching Band. More information can be found here. Also, for those wanting to pregame with us — and I suggest you get there early, as the closer you try to get into Corktown to parade time, the more fucked traffic is — you can meet and drink here.
